Sending Filtered Checklists to medTester

Use the Send Filtered Checklist button on the WebTMA medTester interface when you have a large number of equipment records. Filtering checks reduces the number of records stored in the memory of any medTester unit. Lists can be filtered by: Building, Technician, Department, and Device.

1. Launch the WebTMA medTester application.
2. Set the medTester unit to Menu 1, and, if necessary, ping the medTester. See instructions in Pinging the medTester. The test must be successful before you send checklists.
3. Click the Send Filtered Checklist button.
4. Select the Facility, Building, or Area radio button.
5. Select the item for which you want to send checks to the medTester.
6. Click the Generate File button.

The previous steps will generate a file and send checks to the medTester.

Records based on the selected filter criteria are then transferred to the medTester unit in the same way that all records are sent. For details, see Sending All Checklists to medTester and Processing Files in medTester.

If the send process is interrupted for any reason, you can send these files again. See Re-sending Files to medTester.
