WO Identity Subtabs

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Identity Tab

The Subtabs on the Work Order / Identity Tab are used to supply information about work about:

The Task Info Subtab on the Single Task Work Order window and the Tasks Subtab for multi-task are the defaults and show the task or line items. Use the scroll bar on the multi-task grid to see columns such as Not Located, Work Not Done, Failed PM, and Inspection?. The Tasks topics include explanations and instructions on how to populate the Tasks grid. Tasks Subtab Fields define the fields on the Subtabs.

Use the Identity–Project Subtab to review details about a project associated with the work order. When you enter a number in the Project Num field, the system automatically populates the other fields with information from the related project record. Project information can be added to a work order regardless of the Type specified in the WO Type field.

The Identity–More Info Subtab shows the dates and lapse times related to the work order. Look on this Subtab to find the create date as well as the person who created the record. In addition, the last modified date, last post date, last print date, and the final finish date are also found here. See Finish Dates for more information about the uses and results of entering a finish date on this tab vs. the task line.

The Exclude from Requestor check box refers to the Requestor Login. A mark in this box prevents the work order from appearing in the selection list for work orders only when a user logs in as a requestor using the Requestor Login.

The Fiscal Year field is used when a work order applies to a different fiscal year for accounting purposes. For example, you may need to attribute a work order issued near the end of a fiscal year but completed in the next fiscal year to the fiscal year in which it was issued.

The Identity–Item Info Subtab reflects miscellaneous information such as the subtype, location ID, and sub-location to name a few.

The Identity–Estimate Subtab displays estimated time, cost, or related Estimate records for the work order, if any.
