WO Item Info Fields

The Item Info Subtab reflects read-only data from the space or item record to which the work order refers. This makes it convenient to check details without having to open a separate window, such as the Building or Equipment windows, to get the information.

Area/Space # – The associated area shown on the space or item record. This can be different from the selected area for the work order.

Building Name – The associated building shown on the space or item record. This can be different from the selected building for the work order.

Date Not Located – The Date Not Located indicates the last date an item was marked as Not Located when you use the optional Not Located Count field on the Repair Center / Identity Tab. The Not Located Count feature only applies to work orders written for maintenance-worthy items.

Facility Name – The associated facility shown on the space or item record. This can be different from the selected facility for the work order.

Floor Code – The associated floor shown on the space or item record. This can be different from the selected floor for the work order.

Location ID – The ID of the space or item as indicated on the item or location record. This can be different from the selected location for the work order if an item is in a different location at the time the work order is issued.

Manufacturer – The item's manufacturer taken from the item record.

Model # – The manufacturer's model number recorded on the item record.

Not Located Counter – The Not Located Counter reflects the accumulated number of times an item has been marked as Not Located when you use the optional Not Located Count field on the Repair Center / Identity Tab. The Not Located Count feature only applies to work orders written for maintenance-worthy items.

Risk Level – The code used to specify the degree of importance that has been assigned to determine how quickly to repair or maintain an item. The code is established on the related item record.

Sub-location – Details about the location of the item within a site when the item is not in an obvious spot. In a large warehouse, for example, a sub-location could read, "NE corner, in closet under stairs." This is recorded on the item record and reflected on the work order as convenient reference.

Subtype Desc – This is the Subtype for the space or item. The information is taken from the Subtype field on the space or item record.

Type Description – This is the text used to describe the Type on the original record. The information is taken from the Type field on the space or item record.

VIN / Serial # – Depending on the item being worked on, this is a vehicle VIN number from the vehicle record or a manufacturer's serial number for the item.

Warranty Date – If the item related to this work order is under warranty, this field displays the date shown on the item record. A shield icon Btn_WarrantyShield is a visual alert to the presence of a warranty. If you want the Warranty information also printed on reports, the Repair Center assigned to the work order must have Print Detail checked on the Repair Center / Identity Tab - Preferences Subtab.
