Converted Project Work Order Behavior
A work order created by converting a project task has the following characteristics on the Work Order / Identity Tab:
- Building, area, and task code are all populated based on the information present on the task record.
- WO Type is designated as Project.
- Request fields reflect information found on the task record.
- The estimated start date and estimated end date are populated based on the same information from the task record, if present.
- If a contractor record exists in WebTMA and is specified on the task record, that contractor code is populated on the work order.
- The project (number) is added to the work order.
- The work order resulting from a converted task has the Charge check box marked. This occurs if the Repair Center / Identity check box Most WO Chargeable is marked.
- If an account number is designated on the project record, that account number converts to the work order as the account to be billed, or charged, for costs associated with the work order.
- If no account is specified for the project, no account number shows on the work order.
