If you use a Palm OS device and HotSync, medTester may look to the same port. If so, close the HotSync Manager using the Exit command before you attempt to communicate with the medTester unit.Successful communication requires setting the same port and baud rates in both WebTMA and the medTester unit.
Note: Although the Biomed / Misc Tab includes a Port Number field, it is not related to WebTMA medTester. All settings are made in the configuration files related to medTester.
To assure that another device is not using the medTester port, ping the unit. See Pinging the medTester.
WebTMA can only communicate with the medTester unit when the unit is set to the main medTester menu (Menu 1).
