Work Order Completion

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Identity Tab

The term 'completion date' indicates the date a work order is fully closed including paperwork. It indicates that all jobs and other requirements have been completed.

WebTMA has three fields labeled Completion Date. One field is on the Add Task popup window; another is on the Work Order / Identity Tab; and one is on the Work Order Cost Entry popup window (opened when you click the Cost button on the Work Order / Costs Tab). You can enter the date in any one of these fields to close a work order or a task.

For a multi-task work order, individual tasks can be closed. This does not automatically close the entire work order. When the last scheduled technician completes the last open task, the system saves the date in the Completion Date field on the Work Order / Identity Tab. This occurs when the window refreshes after you save the record.

When the completion date is entered and saved, your WebTMA administrator can choose to have a reminder popup ask if you want to save the task sheet to the Results Tab.
