Path: Admin > User Management > Records / Identity Tab
Many fields on the User Management Identity Tab are self-evident, such as name and phone numbers. Electronic Authorization and Signature are discussed in the next topics:
Active – Click to clear this check box if the person is no longer an active User, Requestor, Technician, or Contractor.
CellularTMA – Mark this check box to allow the user to log in to the cellularTMA application.
Contractor – Used when the Role selected is Contractor. Select the name of the contractor. These are records created from Material > Vendors.
Default From E-mail – Mark this check box if you want this user's name to appear by default in the From field of automatic email messages sent within WebTMA for records generated when this User is logged in. WebTMA checks the record of the logged-in User first. If no e-mail address is specified, WebTMA looks to the dispatcher record and then the client record.
Department – Type or select the user's affiliated department.
E-mail – the user's e-mail address for various internal responses such as rental confirmations.
First Name/Last Name – the user's name.
Initials – The user's initials used in acknowledgments.
LDAP – Mark this check box if your system looks up the user from the domain server data to validate users. With LDAP, users do not have to log in to WebTMA when using SSO; if the Login page displays, users still have to login with their domain credentials. The application validates the person based on their computer login. Caution: Be sure to remind users to lock their computer whenever they step away from their desks. Other people can create requests or cause general mischief from an unlocked computer.
Locked Out – This applies when your organization locks out users after they enter an incorrect password the maximum allowed number of times. A check mark in this box can be cleared by another user with appropriate permission to allow the user to attempt to login once more. Clearing the check box is mandatory when the lockout period is 0 (zero), which makes the lockout indefinite.
Login ID – The user's login code. Note: LDAP users must click the ellipsis button to open the LDAP Popup Window and follow the instructions found in How to Add LDAP Users.
Mobile Access Only – Mark this check box if the user can log in from mobile applications but not from WebTMA.
mobileTMA – Mark this check box if the user is authorized to log in using mobileTMA.
Organization Unit – Used by LDAP in active directory.
Password / Password Confirm – The user's password.
Phone/Fax # – Phone contacts for the user.
Requestor – Used when the Role selected is Requestor. Select the name of the requestor. These are records created from User Management / Requestors.
Role – Select the type of user record being entered. The selections are: Admin, User, Technician, Requestor, and Contractor.
Technician – Used when the Role selected is Technician. Select the name of the technician. These are records created from Organization > Repair Center > Technician.
URL Login – Click to allow the user to automatically log in from the special URL for requests only if established for your organization.
WebTMA GO – Mark this check box if the user is authorized to log in using WebTMA GO.
