How to Finish a Task from the WO

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Identity–Tasks Subtab

The finish date is the date a task has been completed by a technician. Although not required for a task, a finish date is useful when you have a multi-task work order. Once the task is finished, you can enter the date on the Add Task popup window from the Work Order / Identity Tab.

  1. Go to the desired work order record.
  2. Click Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
  3. Click the pencil icon or double-click a Task line item.
  4. Enter the date in the Finish Date field.
  5. Click the Save button on the popup.
  6. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

After the record is saved, the task grid shows the finished date in the Finish Date column. When all tasks are finished, the window displays the word "Finished" at the lower right.
