How to Add a Task to WO
Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Identity–Tasks Subtab
Tasks are required before you can save a work order.
- Enter other required and elective information on the Work Order / Identity Tab.
- Click the Add Task link to open the Add Task popup window.
- Click the down arrow in the Task field. **
- Type or select the code.
- Complete elective fields on this window as needed. See How to Add Trades for details about trades and work orders.
- Click the Save button on the window.
- Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.
When the window refreshes, the task displays as a line item in the Tasks grid. Use the Schedule Tab to assign one or more technicians to the task.
