How to Add a Task to WO

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Identity–Tasks Subtab

Tasks are required before you can save a work order.

  1. Enter other required and elective information on the Work Order / Identity Tab.
  2. Click the Add Task link to open the Add Task popup window.
  3. Click the down arrow in the Task field. **
  4. Type or select the code.
  5. Complete elective fields on this window as needed. See How to Add Trades for details about trades and work orders.
  6. Click the Save button on the window.
  7. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

When the window refreshes, the task displays as a line item in the Tasks grid. Use the Schedule Tab to assign one or more technicians to the task.
