CP Worksheet Descriptions
Each Excel Spreadsheet contains 6 worksheets (tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet). Note that BMAR denotes Deferred Maintenance. These worksheets display:
- BMAR Need – Cyclic Renewal (RENEWAL) and Backlog Reduction (BMAR) information only.
- FACIMP Need – Cyclic Renewal (RENEWAL) and Facilities Improvement (FACIMP) information only.
- Combined Need – Cyclic Renewal (RENEWAL), Backlog Reduction (BMAR) and Facilities Improvement information (FACIMP).
- BMAR Plan – Strategic planning information for Backlog Reduction (BMAR) only.
- FACIMP Plan – Strategic planning information for Facilities Improvement (FACIMP) only.
- Combined Plan – Strategic planning information for Backlog Reduction (BMAR) and Facilities Improvement (FACIMP).
The inputs on the spreadsheet are color coded to keep the different input types clearly separate, as follows...
- Red Fields: User Input fields. This is information required to be entered by you to complete the information the spreadsheet needs to perform its calculations and create the chart.
- Blue Fields: Data imported from WebTMA. WebTMA automatically fills a number of fields based on current data in the database whenever you click the New Worksheet link on the CP Setup Worksheet tab while in Edit mode. If you open the spreadsheet from Excel itself, these fields are not updated and the field values that are Blue merely represent the values at the point in time this spreadsheet was created.
The Blue fields are not linked in any way back to the Capital Planning module, so you can add these numbers yourself or edit any of these numbers if you like.
- Black Fields: Calculated Spreadsheet Fields. Many of the spreadsheet cells display the results of calculations performed from information in other cells. These should not be updated, as this will usually overwrite the original calculation entered in that cell. If you accidently damage a Worksheet, throw the suspect one away and generate a new Worksheet.
- Green Fields: Calculated Macro Fields. These numbers are created by running any macros included on the Excel Worksheets.
BMAR (Backlog of Maintenance and Repairs) is Deferred Maintenance.
