How to Add Allocated Parts to WO

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Schedule Tab–Allocated Part Subtab

To specify parts needed for a job from the applicable work order record:

  1. Click the Schedule Tab.
  2. Click Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
  3. Click the Allocated Part Subtab.
  4. Click the Add Part link at the top of the Allocated Parts grid to open the Part Allocation Entry popup. By default the current task is selected.
  5. (Optional) Change the Task if needed.
  6. Select the Part number.
  7. Type the Quantity to be reserved. Note: A Serial number is required if this is a serialized part.
  8. Click the Save button on the window.
  9. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar to save the part to the record.

BtnNoteTextRequired parts (from the Task or using Required Parts link on the Action Menu) display on the last Subtab—Required Resources/Parts Subtab. Use that Subtab to allocate the required parts. Once you allocate these parts, they also display on the Allocated Part Subtab.
