Path: Transactions > Work Order > Ticket Work Order
The Assign To Self link in the Action Menu is enabled in View or Edit mode. Use the link to assign the ticket to the global technician if one exists. Once the link is clicked and the work is assigned, the link is disabled for that record.
If the global technician has a default Trade and Shift, the Ticket Work Order is scheduled automatically. For desktop clients that have upgraded to WebTMA where a Trade or Shift is not present, you are prompted with the Schedule Entry window.
After a record is "assigned to self," WebTMA displays the word Scheduled at the lower right on the window. You can move the cursor over the word to see a tooltip that indicates the assigned technician(s).
