From the Work Order window, you have several print format options as well as content, depending on how your organization operates.
Options include:
If parts or tools have been allocated to a work order, they print automatically on a separate sheet when the work order is printed.
When a repair center uses printed customer surveys and marks the Enabled check box on the Repair Center / Customer Survey Tab, a survey prints with a work order based on the Trigger Quantity selected. Technicians leave the form with the customer who completes it and returns it to you. Use the responses on these completed forms to help you provide better service.
If your organization has marked the Remote Print Work Order per Trade check box in Client Info / Preferences, WebTMA sends the print to the default printer. The remote printout is sent only once for each Trade associated with the Work Order Task(s). The report prints once for each unique Trade.
The default printer is determined by the following hierarchy: (1) Shop, (2) Repair Center, (3) Client Preference, i.e., if the Shop has a default printer, it is used. If no Shop printer is designated, the Repair Center printer is used. If neither the Shop nor the Repair Center has a specified default printer, the printer named in Client Info / Preferences is used.
See Remote Printing for information about printing to other printers in the system.
