Equipment Window Action Menu

Several links on the Equipment window Action Menu are used as a quick way to perform actions or review information about the item.

The Linked Documents link is common to many windows and opens a window to access and create link(s) between the WebTMA window and other files, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. created with external applications. Complete information on the Linked Documents function is found in the Common Functions document. To view the document, go to Help > Help Page / Common Functions in WebTMA.

The Create WO link opens the Work Order window with information about the current equipment item inserted in the appropriate fields ready for you to create a new work order.

The Last Modified link shows the most recent date the record was changed.

The Post Down Time link opens a window where you can add the down time date and the up time date. When the up time date is added, WebTMA calculates the total down time. When the item is back in service and the window refreshes, the system clears the Out of Service check box on the equipment Identity Tab. On the Post Down Time window, line items can be deleted using the Trash Can icon if a line was entered Incorrectly. This allows you to enter an accurate line.

Click the Transfer History link to see any transfer actions made for the item. Use the horizontal scroll bar to see location and description information about the transfer. This applies to both the previous (old) location and the new location. The WebTMA Report Manager includes an Equipment Transfer History report. Look for it in Reports / Report Manager / Management / History.

The Transfer Equipment link opens the Equipment Transfer window in a second window with most fields automatically populated. The only input needed is the Technician ID and New Location information. The link is enabled only for Users that have Add permission for the Equipment Transfer window.

Click the Groups link to see if the item is associated is a group. The link opens the Associated Groups popup window with a list showing the Group Tag #, Description, Added Date, and Deleted Date if the item is part of a group.

If your organization uses the optional Keys module, the Keys link on the Action Menu displays any keys that are associated with the equipment item.

The Tracking link displays a list of Status entries, dates the status changed, and comments.

When you use the optional Events module, click View Events to see a list of events that use the equipment item.

The Kit link opens a window used to record a list of non-tagged items used in association with this equipment such as power cords, attachments, and manuals. For more information, see How to Add Equipment Kits.

The Service Location link is used to list all the locations affected by a piece of equipment. For example, if a building has multiple air handling units, click the Service Location link to list all areas that would be impacted if a unit is out of service.

If the equipment is eligible for disposal (sell, donate, discard), a Dispose link displays on the Action Menu. The link is disabled if the item is part or a Group, has child items, or the user does not have privileges to Add or View Disposal records for the item.

WebTMA Enterprise users can click the ACI link to review the Asset Condition Index for the item.

The View Map link is available if you use the optional GIS module to view a map related to the equipment location.

Related to the optional Capital Planning module, the Create Cyclic Renewal link opens the CP Renewal Program window. When a CP Renewal Program record is created for the item, the Equipment / Identity Tab displays a Cyclic Renewal icon Btn_Equipment_CP_CyclicRenewal near the Active check box.
