Latitude and Longitude for GIS

Structures such as buildings and entities display as points on the GIS map if you enter values in the Latitude/Longitude fields on the item record.

If you have a GPS device, you can identify the exact longitude and latitude and record them on the record.

WebTMA also provides a method to identify these numbers if you use the following method from the Building or Entity window:

1. Click Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
2. Click the View Map link on the Action Menu.
3. Click the location on the Map Location Entry window.
4. Click the Save button on the Map Location Entry window to populate the Latitude/Longitude fields on the Building record.
5. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

Click-and-drag to move the underlying map, or use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in or zoom out.
