How to Allocate Required Parts WO

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Schedule Tab-Required Resources/Parts Subtab

Parts are allocated from this Subtab in View mode.

  1. Click the link to open the Add Part window.
  2. Accept or change the Task.
  3. Complete the other required fields, i.e., Warehouse and the Quantity. The warehouse is selected by default if the part has a warehouse associated with it and if the warehouse has available parts.
  4. (Serialized Parts only) Select the Serial number.
  5. Click the Save button to update the database.

The box in the Alloc column displays a check mark when parts have been allocated. A check mark only indicates that at least one part of that type has been allocated but does not mean that the all required parts are allocated.

BtnNoteTextThe Add Part window attempts to allocate the number that is required for the part. If the number is insufficient, WebTMA allocates the items available from the warehouse. For serialized parts, the Quantity is always 1.
