Work Order Safety & Risk Subtab

Path: Transactions > Work Order > Records / Safety & Risk Tab

The information on this Tab is used for reporting safety-related issues. Use this Tab to track data when the task requested on a work order involves safety issues where technicians or others may be at risk.

If you add accident and error information on a consistent basis, you can go to Reports > Report Manager / Safety & Risk to print a number of related reports.

To record safety information:

  1. Open the desired work order record.
  2. Click the Results Tab.
  3. Click the Safety & Risk Subtab.
  4. Click Edit on the WebTMA toolbar.
  5. Click the appropriate check boxes according to definitions below.
  6. Add any Corrective Action Taken in the free-form text field.
  7. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar to save the record.

Department Sign Off When a representative of the engineering / maintenance department signs forms certifying that the incident has been resolved, select the date the forms were signed.

[Repair Center name] Sign Off Select the date that an authorized representative of the repair center signs forms certifying that the incident has been resolved.

Department Head Type the name of the department manager involved in the safety issue.

Operator Error Check this box if the operator/employee was at fault for this incident.

Operator Risk Check this box if there was a risk to the operator/employee as a result of this incident.

Action Required Check this box if the maintenance/engineering department was required to take action to resolve the incident.

Client (or Patient) Risk Check this box if there was a possible risk to others as a result of this incident.

Corrective Action Type any pertinent information about changes or other actions taken to avoid future risks.
