Can you add a Facility after setup?
Yes. You can add buildings, areas, or any other level as long as the level was established at setup.
How do I account for Rooftops or other common areas if I don't use the Floor level?
Since WebTMA is space/area based, you can call the rooftop an area (a required level in the location hierarchy). The same is true for hallways, reception areas, and other common spaces.
Do I have to add all User Defined fields at setup?
No. You can add new User Defined fields at any time.
Do I have to add all my Types and Subtypes before I can use WebTMA?
No. However, a record must be created before you can issue a work order for a particular type.
What are Subtypes used for?
If you need a fine level of filtering or detail in reports, subtypes serve this purpose.
Should I use Subtypes?
Subtypes can be helpful, but they can be overused. Think through the level of detail that managers want to review. If in doubt, do not use subtypes.
What Types benefit from using Subtypes?
Equipment is the most likely type to benefit from using subtypes.
When can other employees start using WebTMA?
When initial setup is completed, you can assign other users to the system.
