Required Parts for Work Order

WebTMA automatically prints a list of parts and tools that are associated with the work order tasks; however, parts may not be available or the job may necessitate additional parts for that particular work order.

WebTMA includes the Required Parts link on the Action Menu so anyone with access to the work order record can request needed parts or other charge items. Click the link to request the additional parts that are needed. This request does not assure that the part is available in the warehouse. Use Work Order > Required Part Browse to determine part availability.

Once you have requested more parts, it is necessary to order or assign the parts to the work order. See the Requested Part Browse topics for information about converting the requests.

BtnNoteTextWhen a work order is closed, any requested parts that are still pending are updated to zero and will no longer show up in the Required Parts Browse window.
