Use the Default Printer field to indicate the path to the printer used by the repair center. If you complete the field, the Auto Print User field is required. Information in the Auto Print User field gives WebTMA information regarding the time zone to apply.
In large organizations, each repair center probably has its own printer to print work orders. You can specify the printer used for either Work Orders or Work Order Batch List.
WebTMA looks first to the Shop record, then the Repair Center, and finally to the default printer in Client Info. WebTMA uses the first printer found in the hierarchy.
For multi-task work orders with different shops and repair centers, the individual tasks are printed to the related shop or repair center if they have a designated printer.
When you click Print on the WebTMA toolbar, you always have the option to use the local printer.
