Lookup Status

Path: Organization > Lookups > Status

Status relates to a number of WebTMA windows. It establishes codes commonly used to describe progress made on a record. You can establish different status types for specific kinds of records. When the status is created or edited, click the check boxes of the windows that use the status. Depending on the type of record, users receive a prompt to e-mail a notice to anyone whose e-mail address is listed on the record.

A Notify check box is used to send an e-mail to users when a Status is added to either work orders or requests. These are the only two Applicable Transactions that are eligible to receive the e-mail notice.

The Redirect WO option is different from most other check boxes shown. This status applies to work orders, but its use can only be applied to one type created in Lookups > Status. It applies when users click the Create Redirect WO link on the Work Order Action Menu.

Similar to the redirect status, the Linked WO check box can be marked for only one status. Its use is used to set the default for linked work orders. If you attempt to check it for a second status, WebTMA notifies you of the status record that is currently using Linked WO.

If you use the Capital Planning and Capital Project modules, you have numerous Lookup options for the related windows.

Examples: deferred, part on order, budgetary constraints, scheduling conflict
