How to Switch Fields for Request Log

Path: Admin > Form Attributes > System Form Attributes

The Request Log window (aka Request Log A) can be amended by the WebTMA System Administrator to include the Area, Floor, Building, and Facility fields. By default, this window only shows a single location field. Follow these instructions to include the additional location fields and help requestors more easily identify their site.

  1. Use the instructions in the previous topic to locate either
    - the Request Log window (for regular use login) or
    - the Work Request A window (for Requestor Login)
  2. Clear the Visible check box for all the following controls. These fields control the default Single Location option: ddlLocationType, txtLocationCode, and txtLocationName.
  3. Check the Visible check box for all the following controls: txtArea, txtBuilding, txtFacilityName, txtFloor, and txtLocation.
  4. Click Save on the WebTMA toolbar.

Unless you make all the default controls invisible in step 2 and all the location controls visible in step 3, the default Single Location view prevails.

The Request Log and Work Request A windows never display both the single location and separate location options at the same time. If all eight fields listed above are marked Visible, the default Single Location takes precedence.

BtnCautionYou can clear all eight check boxes to hide all location fields on the Request Log window. If so, be sure to go to Admin > Client Info / Preferences Tab and clear the Filter Items by Location check box. Otherwise, users will have no items available for selection.
