Types of MyPage Controls

You have the option of setting different types of controls on your Tabs. The selection depends on your needs. You can use Controls of all types on a single Tab, or you may prefer to have specialized Tabs for Controls such as the optional Dashboard charts.

Bulletin – Create a text box you can update regularly with current announcements about the organization or department.

Calendar – Display the current month with navigation arrows to view other months and years.

Browse – Display a query related to a particular TMA window.

Pie, Bar, Dial, Digital – These are available if you purchased the optional Executive Dashboard module. Define the Control and display it on MyPage or on a separate Tab for Dashboard Controls. The Dashboard document found in Help > Help Page defines the various options for Dashboard users.

RSS Feed – Create a connection to an information or news feed. The RSS feed reader in WebTMA works with RSS v2.0 or ATOM feed formats. Other feed formats cannot be viewed in WebTMA v4.X.

WO Browse – Display a saved query from the WO Browse window.

Assigned WO Browse – Display all open work orders assigned to a technician. When a standard or administrator user logs in, a technician can be selected in the MyPage control configuration page. If a technician is logged in, that technician's work order list is displayed. Other user types see an empty list.

Request Browse – Display all requests associated with a requestor. When a standard or administrator user logs in, a requestor can be selected in the MyPage control configuration page. If a requestor logs in, that requestor's list or requests is displayed. Other user types see an empty list.

Material Request – Display approved material requests awaiting receipt.

Hyperlink – Add URL links to frequently-used web sites such as your organization's home page or a vendor/manufacturer.

Statistics – Display the number of work orders or requests based on your selection of any of twelve check boxes available for a statistical summary. You can also add an existing report icon to the title bar for more detail about your statistics selection.

Training Request Browse – This selection is available if you use the optional WebTMA Training Module. Display a saved Query from the Training Browse window.

My Tasks – Name and add comments to a control that will display incomplete Attachment Tasks both Public and Private to the logged in user. These tasks are created using the Attachments-Tasks Tab of those windows that have it, such as Purchase Orders, Contract, and Work Orders.

Custom SQL – Select a Custom SQL query to run with your Dashboard control. This option is only available to client-hosted users with the optional Executive Dashboard module. Custom queries are first created and tested using the window found at Admin > MyPage Config > Custom SQL.

Report List – To create a Control that includes a list of reports as hyperlinks, select Report List. Rather than a report icon on the title bar of a control, the Control itself displays a list of hyperlinks that, when clicked, open the reports shown on the Control. The control is not supported for Silverlight.

General Inspection Browse – If you use the optional General Inspection module, you can display query saved from the General Inspection Browse window.
