Image Documents and Reports

The Pictures Subtab allows you to view images attached to the record as well as select an image that you want to include on a report. The Show on Report check box can only be marked for one line on the Pictures Subtab. If the record has a photo attached and the check box is marked, it is eligible for inclusion on some reports. The Show on Report check box is not available for inherited images, i.e., those linked to a different record.

When adding images to the Task window, the popup Document Entry window includes a check box labeled Include in WO Report. This is the only instance when an image that is linked to a different record is available for a report. On the Task window, the Include in WO Report check box is linked to the Show on Report check box. When one is marked or cleared, the other is also marked or cleared.

An image column is found in the following report forms: Facility, Building, Floor, Area, Equipment, Asset, Entity, Group, Tool, Vehicle, Biomed, IT Equipment, and Work Order, Request. The image field is available with detail system reports for these windows and displays at the bottom of the report.

In the Report Writer, you can add the image field to reports related to the window listed in the previous paragraph. Images apply to reports that print a single record and are available for List and Table format; however, they can only be resized in the List format.

Resize the List format in the Report Writer style section by selecting the Data Field box. For a Table format, resize and save the image before uploading it using Linked Documents.
